Peach Creek Vineyards
9771, 2029 Peach Creek Rd, College Station, TX

Peach Creek Vineyards proudly serves Texas wines in a relaxed, unpretentious country atmosphere on family-owned farmlands. All Peach Tree Vineyards wines are made from locally grown grapes, a point of pride for this local artisan micro-winery.

Some of their best-selling reds include the versatile Tailgater, a full-bodied Merlot that is best paired with red meat and strong cheese. There’s also The Patriot, a dry Cabernet that goes with steaks. Meanwhile, the intriguing Trail Rider is a Chambourcin that is both medium-bodied and fruity.

There are also a wonderful variety of white wines and rosé to choose from. Some of the more tantalizing selections include Tropical Bliss, a fruity and off-dry Blanc du Bois wine. Sunrise Gold is a blend that is fruit-forward with hints of honey.

Peach Creek Vineyards are open daily for bottle sales, with tastings available on weekdays by appointment.

Lone Hen Winery
12455 Hopes Creek Rd, College Station, TX

Lone Hen Winery was established in 2009 and is owned and run by Steve and Vicki Kirkpatrick. What started out as a 10-acre lot became a vineyard planted with Blanc du Bois and Champanel grapes. Today, Lone Hen Winery has grown into an artisanal micro-winery where some of College Station’s best sparkling wine is produced.

Well-loved by visitors and locals alike, Lone Hen Winery’s wines are light and crisp. Wine enthusiasts love the homemade craftsmanship and love that goes into each bottle, which is why many walk away with cases of sparkling wine to take home and enjoy. Each bottle is created by using the traditional method, which is a bit of a rarity for Texas. Some of Lone Hen’s specialties include their sparkling pear wine, sparkling berry wine, and their sparkling Blanc du Bois.

The Villa at Messina Hoff
4545 Old Reliance Rd, Bryan, TX

Messina Hof is called “the first family of Texas wine” and with good reason. They have been producing award-winning wines since 1977! Messina Hof produces 100% Texas wines and goes back 6 generations of wine-making expertise.

One of Texas’s largest wineries, Messida Hof started with only a single acre and 50 grape varietals. They earned their first award in the 1980s and have since garnered many more. Messina Hof best-sellers include Estate Sagrantino, a dry red with hints of bell peppers and red fruits; Paulo Merlot, which is silky and aromatic; Paulo Port, a rich dessert wine with flavors of milk chocolate, dark berries, and caramel; and Aggie Network Chardonnay, light with notes of melon and crème brûlée.

Messina Hof has 4 wineries spanning the Lone Star State, but the one in Bryan, is where you’ll find the Messina Hof Estate Vineyard Winery and Resort. Book a private tour of the vineyard and learn more about Messina Hof’s history and legacy. You can also spend the night (or the weekend) at The Villa B&B and pair their award-winning wines with delectable dishes at the Vintage House Restaurant. They also have a tasting room that is open daily.
