Mark Cockrell, REALTOR®

Mark Cockrell is a retired Army Combat Veteran with 20 years of service. Having lived in Central Texas for over 26 years, Mark proudly says, “I wasn’t born in Texas, but I was bred a Texan.” He and his wife Tamala, a native of Temple, have been married for over 30 years and are the proud parents of one son and three daughters.

Throughout his military career, Mark attended several universities, earning a BS degree in Liberal Arts from Excelsior University in Albany, NY. Outside of work, Mark is an avid reader and lifelong learner. He is also a dedicated voting board member of Communities In Schools of Central Texas, where he actively contributes to the local community.

Mark’s passion for real estate was sparked by his experience with homeownership. After purchasing his first home, he realized that home buying is about more than just acquiring a property—it’s about creating a legacy. As a career soldier, he was able to raise his family in a single home for over 25 years, providing his children with the opportunity to attend and graduate from the same high school. For Mark, real estate is not just about selling houses; it’s about helping families fulfill their dreams and build lasting memories.
